The Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) released a public solicitation on August 15, 2022, Data Analytics for Student Success, Institutional Efficiencies, & Integration (MHEC-RFP-08152022). SAS Institute has been awarded contract MHEC-06302023 after fulfilling all the requirements outlined in the request for proposal. The contract is effective from July 1, 2023, until June 30, 2026, and an option to renew for four additional years.
SAS Institute presents a comprehensive solution to address the data analytics needs of MHEC member states. The contract includes tiered SAS Institute software product bundles, allowing institutions to tailor the functionality and pricing to their unique situations. The software offerings encompass a wide range of capabilities, including data access, integration, preparation, quality, visualization, reporting, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more.
To further support institutions, SAS Institute offers consulting services backed by experienced consultants who leverage data and analytics. These services help institutions evaluate opportunities, design effective analytics strategies, and implement appropriate technology solutions. The packaged consulting engagements cover various aspects, such as modernization services, quick start services, analytic labs, and model tuning, all aimed at optimizing the value and efficiency of their analytics programs.
SAS Institute provides the option for eligible institutions to host their SAS Institute software within the SAS Institute Azure tenant. This cloud service includes SLA management, 24/7 operational support, software administration, and comprehensive management over architecture, incidents, performance, service, security, and project management. With SAS Institute managing the hosting and maintenance, institutions can focus their IT resources on other critical projects while ensuring their analytics program remains up-to-date and efficient.
