In an effort to give colleges and universities and state and local governmental entities more flexibility and choice in selecting the printers, multi-function devices, equipment purchasing options, and services that meet their needs, MHEC underwent a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for Data (document) Management needs in March 2016. Upon completion of the RFP process, MHEC selected Xerox as its approved vendor and entered into an agreement with Xerox that gives colleges, universities, and state and local governments a significant discount on the purchase price of Xerox wide range of products and services. Xerox has always offered top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art printers. Now under the MHEC initiative, Xerox is the competitive price leader in all phases of printing, managed services, and workflow automation.
