The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) member states are Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota*, Oregon, South Dakota*, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. *The Dakotas are members of both compacts - MHEC and WICHE.
MHEC has in place Memorandums of Understanding extending MHEC's Cyber Insurance, Master Property Program, and MHECare to higher education institutions in the WICHE region.
In addition, MHEC technology contracts are available in the WICHE region including higher education institutions; K-12 districts and schools; cities, states, and local governments.
