U.S. Department of Education Offers Funding Opportunity
The U.S. Department of Education, through the Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education is seeking applicants for their Education Stabilization Fund- Reimagine Workforce Preparation (ESF-RWP) Grants Program.
The purpose of the ESF-RWP Grants program is to provide support to help states with highest coronavirus burden by creating and expanding short-term education and training opportunities and/or career pathways programs that help citizens return to work, become entrepreneurs, or expand their small businesses. The grant opportunity can also be used to enable states to create or expand small business incubators that offer educational and training opportunities, mentorship, as well as shared resources to assist in helping small business recover and grow while helping new entrepreneurs thrive.
The grant opportunity is limited to applications that meet one of two absolute priorities. Competitive preference will be given to applications that focus on distance education, serving lifelong learners in distressed communities, and serving entrepreneurs and businesses in distressed communities.
