Contract Award for Virtualization and Data Center Modernization

As a result of a competitive solicitation and award for Virtualization and Data Center Modernization, this new offering from Dell EMC (MHEC-01312021) provides a broad set of on-premise and cloud enabled solutions for modern data center architectures including data protection and Air-Gap cyber-recovery solutions. Dell EMC offers comprehensive services, managed services, training, and financing solutions from Dell Financial Services. The Dell EMC portfolio of products also offers powerful and innovative data center modernization options with complementary solutions through VMware  and Boomi. Tiered discounts provide the flexibility to choose from hardware, software, and as-a-service related to networks, wireless, server, and storage which best fits an institution’s needs.

Entities in the MHEC region eligible to use the Dell EMC contract include colleges, universities, K‐12 districts and schools, and cities, states and local government. The contract is also available to MHEC's sister compacts in the New England Board of Higher Education, the Southern Regional Education Board, and the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education. The term of the contract is through February 15, 2024, with an option to renew for an additional four years.
