Contract Award for e-Transcripts and Supportive Services
Over the last six months, a dedicated committee of regional stakeholders evaluated several proposals submitted for the Digital Credentialing Solutions (e.g., e-Transcripts) MHEC-RFP-10052020. Upon meeting all the requirements of the solicitation the committee selected to awarded Parchment the contract to provide e-Transcripts and supportive services. The new Parchment (MHEC-01312021) contract expands the scope to include the full suite of Parchment award, receive, and recruit services to enable even more benefits, such as enhancing the admissions process and providing better data, leading to higher degree completion rates. It also allows an institution to focus most of its energy on finding the e-Transcript solution that best fits its needs instead of the contract itself. Parchment has been serving colleges, universities, K-12 districts and schools, and state agencies throughout MHEC’s 12 member states since 2006. The contract is also available to MHEC's sister compacts in the New England Board of Higher Education, the Southern Regional Education Board, and the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education. The term of the contract is through June 30, 2024, with an option to renew for an additional four years.
