WEBINAR - Postsecondary Non-Completion Among Veterans: Contributing Factors and Implications

Guest presenter Walter Ochinko, research director for the Veterans Education Success, will share results relating to military-connected students stemming from an analyses of the Department of Education’s longitudinal Beginning Postsecondary Students (BPS), which surveyed first-time students twice from 2011 to 2014. His study, Postsecondary Non-Completion Among Veterans: Contributing Factors and Implications, concludes that that the BPS may overstate veteran non-completion, demographics of non-completers align with risk factors, and the implications of non-completion.
