About this Indicator

This indicator measures the percentages of adults who have attained a postsecondary degree by sex. Postsecondary degree attainment is based on the highest degree completed beyond high school, including an associate degree, an associate degree or higher, or a bachelor’s degree or higher. This indicator also shows the percentage of adults who have completed some college coursework or credit but not a degree. Postsecondary certificate attainment estimates are unavailable by sex. Attainment levels are presented for female and male adults ages 25 to 34, 25 to 44, and 25 to 64.
