AI Learning Community: What Is (And Isn’t) AI on Campus

Join the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) for “What Is (and Isn’t) AI on Campus,” a virtual session of the AI Learning Community. Participants will build a shared AI vocabulary, explore where AI provides value today and examine academic and operational uses.

Guest speaker Reggie Smith, AI Project Manager at Northcentral Technical College in Wisconsin, will discuss the college’s work to integrate AI across its academic and operational activities. Northcentral Technical College has made a commitment to embrace advanced technologies to better equip Wisconsin’s future workforce and is a great Midwestern case study for the integration of advanced technologies.

Supported by MHEC’s Technologies Community, the AI Learning Community brings together institutions across MHEC member states to discuss responsible use, procurement, data protection, and workforce implications. The series helps institutions learn from one another and build a shared understanding of AI implementation across the region.

This event is open to members of MHEC’s Technologies Community, as well as higher education technology practitioners across the Midwest.
