WEBINAR-In Data we Trust: Supporting Military-Connected Students with National and Local Data Sources

This webinar will provide an overview of national data sources that are available on military-connected populations and how these data can support military-connected student success initiatives on MCMC campuses. The interactive session will also highlight the importance of collecting and tracking sound data on military-connected students at the campus-level, including insight into the complicated world of institutional research and suggestions for student veteran leaders and institutional administrators on how to effectively work with these professionals to get better local data to support military-connected student success on individual campuses. Presenting is Katie Giardello, a doctoral student in higher education leadership at Western Michigan University, consultant with the Michigan Center for Student Success, and former MCMC Steering Committee Member.
