The Xerox contract gives colleges, universities, and state and local governments a significant discount on the purchase price of a wide range of Xerox products and services. Under the MHEC initiative, Xerox is the competitive price leader in all phases of printing, managed services, and workflow automation.

Contract Terms & Eligibility

Effective July 1, 2018–June 30, 2025.
Eligible to higher education institutions (public and private not-for-profit), K-12 districts and schools, cities, counties, local subdivisions, and state government in MHEC, NEBHE, SREB, and WICHE member states.

Solicitation Due Diligence

To give Midwestern colleges and universities and state and local governmental entities more flexibility and choice in selecting the printers that meet their needs, MHEC underwent a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for data (document) management needs in March 2016. From that process, MHEC selected Xerox as its approved vendor and entered into an agreement with Xerox that gives colleges, universities, and state and local governments a significant discount on the purchase price of Xerox printers and supplies (excluding paper).
