Benjamin Coder is MHEC’s program and contracts manager, helping increase awareness and utilization of MHEC’s technology and insurance programs and contracts. Prior to joining the MHEC staff in September 2025, he was a graduate teaching assistant at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, where he also served abroad as a market research intern for technology commercialization in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He also has more than a decade of nonprofit experience in multiple roles with Northern Star Scouting, including as activities and STEM director, for which he managed a portfolio of programs and events for a 25-county territory across Wisconsin and Minnesota.  

Benjamin earned his Bachelor of Arts from Carthage College and his Master of Public Policy with a law minor from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
