SUMMARY:2026 MHEC Technology Futures Exchange at Dell Technologies
DESCRIPTION:Higher education institutions are making increasingly consequential technology decisions as artificial intelligence\, data\, cybersecurity\, infrastructure\, workforce capacity\, governance\, and investment become more interconnected. The technologies\, business models\, and implementation expectations surrounding those decisions continue to evolve. \nMHEC is convening a small cross-state cohort of higher education technology leaders from its member states to share institutional experience\, learn from different contexts\, and examine the questions leaders should be preparing for next. By connecting perspectives across institutions and states\, MHEC can help surface shared challenges\, important differences\, and issues that may warrant broader regional attention. \nParticipants will engage with peers\, MHEC\, and Dell Technologies experts to examine emerging technology and market developments\, assess them against institutional realities\, and consider implications for readiness\, governance\, resilience\, investment\, and execution. \nThe Exchange offers participants the opportunity to learn from peers\, challenge assumptions\, engage directly with Dell experts\, and bring useful insights and connections back to their institutions and professional networks. What MHEC learns through the Exchange will also inform future regional learning and identify where continued collaboration may add value. \n.
