Our monthly Technologies Community Coffee Chat will feature a presentation conducted by Angela Neria, Pittsburg State University’s Chief Information Officer. Angela will share Pittsburg State’s collective approach to navigating the unexpected in their Student Information System (SIS) implementation. Rather than allowing it to derail their plans, Pittsburg State has been making lemonade from lemons—by turning the challenge into an opportunity for growth and innovation. Angela will discuss the strategies being used for maintaining momentum, keeping stakeholders engaged, and enhancing preparedness for the eventual rollout. A key component of Pittsburg State’s approach is ensuring clear and transparent communication and creating both internal and external partnerships. This Coffee Chat will provide valuable insights into managing project disruptions, fostering resilience, and leading through effective communication.
