Dean of the Library Appointment Term: May 01, 2013 to At the Pleasure of the Governor Olivia M. A. Madison serves as Dean of the Library at Iowa State University. She graduated from Iowa State University with a BA in History and the University of Missouri with a MA in Library Science. Madison recently received the American Library Association’s Margaret Mann Citation in recognition of her distinguished leadership in the development and management of cataloging, including a key role in the ongoing development of the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules. She has published widely in the area of bibliographic standards and has held leadership roles in American Library Association, Association of Research Libraries, and the International Federation of Library Associations.
